As part of a global campaign for Oakley eyewear, Director Chad Tingle and Photographer Devin Stinson traveled to Tampa, FL for the 1st day of Spring Training. Working in collaboration with Agency AKQA, the goal was to capture a digital spot and print campaign featuring York Yankee all-star right fielder Aaron Judge. In the late 1960s, Helene smith, dubbed the “Queen of Miami Soul” was destined for stardom but became disillusioned with the music business and walked away from recording and performing. She married her manager, had a child and was a Miami-Dade elementary school teacher before retiring in 2013. This film commissioned by the Borscht film collective follows Helene as she returns to the recording booth for the 1st time in over 40 years.
